gngr to the rescue!

I thought I had boneless chicken breasts in the freezer -- really, I did! I did! But no...

Back in April,  gngr posted a recipe that I liked. I thought I'd make it ahead of time the day before my surgery, and just plunk it in the oven the next evening when I got home. I bought precooked chicken just to make it easier. But instead, my kid wanted to make me dinner. (Awwwwww) So I froze the chicken.

So tonight, when I discover no boneless chicken breasts for the recipe I wanted to make, I remember gngr's and am now defrosting the cooked chicken strips to cut up for it.

Turned out yunny! No, I didn't boil the chicken, that's why I used pre-cooked chicken. But I didn't have enough celery, so I used chopped up raw zucchini in place of about half of the raw celery.

That's supposed to read "yummy," and I am still trying to figure out how to edit these things. Grrr.
