I did go to the LJ FAQs to try to figure it out, and saw what you're talking about. But I still didn't get it right. I didn't understand what they were asking for in the section you call linkypoo text. The instructions weren't that clear to me. I'll try to do better next time!

I take it you do this in the html window? I usually use the Rich Text editor, and just putting the URL in the "insert link" box (or whatever it's called, since I can't see it from here! :))usually works... but not always.

Yeah, you would only use this in the not-rich-text editor. ;)
