Bad news/good news

Some of our UUs (the minister, president, members of board and social justice committee, maybe others) were planning to attend a fundraising banquet Jan. 27 for The Amherst Survival Center, an organization founded by one of our members years ago as a food pantry, place for people in need to get meals, household items and clothing with no questions asked (or paperwork requirements), and now a free health clinic a couple of days a week. I was planning to attend.
The bad news: The event is sold out.
The good news: The event is sold out.
:D
(Our minister snagged two of the last tickets so she and her spouse can go.)
