ar_wahanWhat a couple of days this has been. But, nothing bad. Just frustrating and time-consuming.
I had an annual checkup yesterday. Ended up with all sorts of "extras" that I didn't count on having just yet -- flu shot (good, I know I need one), tdap shot, ECG, etc., etc. Lab work from the fasting blood work I complained about last week came out well. So I really shouldn't complain. Just wasn't expecting the ECG and other things. Needed 'em, yeah, but no one told me they'd be coming and to budget the time. I went in at 3:30, got out two hours later.
Last month I alluded to, but never posted about, the very rocky start I had with the new creative director at a new client firm. We healed the rift, but I had a new project due today for her. Was very anxious about getting it all right, finally got it sent off an hour or so ago. Hope it flies.
The good news is, the creative director at another firm -- the guy who's been out on medical leave -- is back. And I haven't had my latest draft to him sent back for endless revisions (yet! :P), as i did with the AE who was dealing with me in his absence.
I sent an important document off on Saturday by Express Mail.to one of you; it was supposed to arrive Monday afternoon. Just found out that as of Wednesday a.m., it had not showed up. Grrr....
I need to proofread a newsletter and get it back to the designer guy tonight. But I also need to make dinner. And have time for a life.
