I just registered my phone number at The National Political Do Not Contact Registry, a program of the non-partisan non-profit group, Citizens for Civil Discourse.

Did you know that even if you registered your phone number on the Federal Do Not Call List (www.donotcall.gov) that politicians can call you whenever and however many times that want to, just because they can. Yes, political calls are exempt from the Federal DNC list! This means that there are few if any regulations that can keep politicians from calling you at dinner if they want to.
Did you also know that one of the fastest growing political communications is automated political phone calls (robo - calls)? In the 2006 election over 64% of all American voters received an automated political call? Some of us got up to 37 phone calls in a single day!
