A moving video on autism -- and a chance to help

Su (whose son has Asperger's) just emailed this link to me sent to her by a local organization, Community Resources for People with Autism.

The band, Five for Fighting, is generously donating $0.49 to Autism Speaks for *each time* the video is viewed. The funding goes toward research studies to help find a cure. They are aiming for 10,000 hits, but hopefully we can help them to surpass this goal."

Did you hear about the kerfluffle recently about Autism Speaks suing a 14-year-old (autistic kid) for making a parody site that suggested that autistic people could speak for themselves?

Apparently they dropped it, but strong-armed the kid into taking down the site (even though under fair use laws, parody sites are not illegal).
