Not what I was hoping for, but better than I'd feared

Arrived in today's mail:

"Your mammogram shows findings usually caused by non-cancerous fibrocystic changes, normal breast tissue, or other benign conditions. Repeat mammogram in 4 months."

Better than another biopsy, not as nice as "repeat in 6 months," which is what I was asked to do years ago for microcalcifications; after a couple of years of no changes, they let me go back to once-a-year squishes.

Four months from the day of the last mammogram, I will be in Ireland. Four months from the day I got this notice, I'll be back. I'll have it done then.

Not again!

Jesse Cat clawed at the deck door and I let him in without noticing, until too late, that he once again had a gray handlebar mustache -- another mouse in his jaws! I threw a jacket on top of him and he dropped the mouse, and Samurai saw it get away... and both cats scrambled to go after it ... but it disappeared. I'm thinking it went down one of the little holes that the radiator pipes follow into the basement.

Sigh. Glad it's alive, not glad it's in the house.
