Because Bookglowwurm is persistent!!

For the first time in my life, I tried to take a photo of myself with a digital camera, because bookglowwurm wanted to see my shorter hair cut... Geez, you guys all make self-portraits look so easy! This is me squinting at the viewfinder while aiming the camera at the bathroom mirror.

So stylin'! I like the style a lot. Are those natural curls? My sister's hair is similar. She spent years fighting the curl and now she has a stylist that works with it and her hair is so attractive.

Pretty good for someone who never posts her own photo, eh?

Yes, those are natural curls. My problem was that the hair that was closest to the sides of my face has lost most of its curl in the last few months, while everything else stayed the same. Not sure why -- perhaps it is a side effect of the tamoxifen. It was just hanging down and looking bad. My stylist cut it much shorter to take advantage of what little curl is left there.

I never do the mirror thing. I just hold the camera out and point it straight at my head then check the picture, and adjust for how much I was off. You can't really do that with a regular camera, but with digital and webcam, you just delete the ones that only got your eyeball or finger. hehehe.
