ayeamspartacus is a cunning gladiator. He assigned me the letter V! Not a lot of words begin with V. Before I forget that I accepted this challenge, I'd better do it!
Ten things I love that begin with V:
1. Vacations
2. valor
3. validations (you can tell I'm just going through the dictionary, right? :P)
4. variety stores (not many of the old-fashioned five-and-dime kind left these days. There's a terrific one in Chatham on Cape Cod.)

6. veracity
7. Victoria, British Columbia
8. Victorians (the architecture)
9. violets (wild ones start to bloom en masse in our backyard just about this time of year)
