I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through! Recently I had my second mammography in two years, and have been declared cancer-free, which is exactly what I expected. Then one of my co-workers tells me that mammograms don't always catch the lump that is cancerous... I didn't want to hear that.
You are much braver than I am - I think I would take a different course of treatment, wisdom or foolishness notwithstanding.
