Font Feeding Frenzy!

I've been writing and designing a brochure about my church's La Farge and Tiffany stained glass windows. The windows and the building were made in the Arts and Crafts period. I have a lot of fonts on my computer (more than what came with Word, etc.), but didn't know which of them might look like those used when the Arts and Crafts movement was hot. So of course, I Googled... and found this!

I bought 'em and downloaded the collection, and a CD is on its way.! Ganelon will make a gorgeous headline font for this project. I think I'll use True Golden for the body copy. And I know I could use these and others in the collection for other church publications, posters, etc.

For [personal profile] rowangolightly and others into rennie adventures and projects, this same site also has fonts from various time periods and cultures. Might be useful to know about, at some point.

Some people collect stamps. Others collect teddy bears. I know at least one person with a passion monster figurines (I'm thinking of you, [profile] el_jefe59 ).

I guess my secret craving is ... fonts.

The fonts are cool :-). I like the first one (in red) is my favorite :-)

Maybe I goofed up, but some of the fonts don't have any punctuation marks, even though the folder shows them as being there. I sent an email asking if I did something wrong when I downloaded them.

Hopefully, when I get the CD, everything will be there.
